One of the last surviving “Dai pai dong” in Hong Kong 愛文生大排檔
Dai Pai dong’s are open-air food stalls in Hong Kong, literally meaning “big license stall”. They were once a common sight, but are now fading due to government restrictions. The 椒鹽九肚魚 Deep-Fried Bombay Duck Fish with Peppered Salt and 黑椒薯仔牛柳粒 Stir-Fried Beef Fillet & Potatoes in Black Pepper Sauce are a must try.
There are many other good things to order that I did not list on here (I really like deep fried seafood, so my list is a bit biased in that direction).
